Please read them carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms & Conditions do not affect those. If there’s anything you don’t understand, then please contact us and we will do our very best to help you.
This site is operated by Signs Scott Ltd t/as Love Wood Prints ("us", "we", "Love Wood Prints" or "our"), located at Unit 9, Munday Works,58-66 Morley Road, Tonbridge. Kent TN9 1RA . You can telephone us on 01732 770775. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted to this page and will take effect immediately. By continuing to use the site you are bound by these terms.
2: Shopping With Us
The content within this site is owned in its entirety by us – so you are not permitted to reuse any parts of it or to distribute any content or images for any purpose other than personal viewing and the printing of individual pages. We reserve the right to restrict, terminate and suspend anyone from using this site.
This site and the goods sold through it are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to improve, alter or modify designs without prior notification. We will inform you of any changes to the advertised goods prior to despatch of such goods.
By submitting your order you’re offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details on to third-party couriers for delivery purposes).
We are not obligated to fulfil your order and supply your goods to you until we have confirmed that we have accepted your order and received payment in full. Your order will be deemed to have been accepted when we despatch to you the goods which form your order. We reserve the right to reject your order at any time.
The specifications, sizes, images, descriptive content and advertising published by us or contained on our website are given in good faith for giving an approximate idea of the goods described in them and colours shown are intended as a guide only: they do not form part of the Terms. Actual colours may differ due to your own monitor settings, over which we have no control!
All pricing is subject to change without notification. Any such changes will be effective immediately on publication to the website.
3: Privacy
You have our commitment that your images will not be put into the public domain, unless by prior consent and with your permission. Your personal information will be kept strictly confidential. It is never sold, given away or shared with anyone. So, rest assured, your contact details are strictly confidential and are not shared with any third party. Only carefully selected, authorized personnel have access (for customer service, accounting and abuse monitoring purposes) to view system accounts.
We may occasionally email you with special offers and new services to the site. If you receive these, you will have the opportunity to unsubscribe yourself from any further messages on the email you have received. Please be assured our aim is not in any way to invade your privacy, but merely to inform you of items that, given your experience in dealing with www.lovewoodprints.co.uk may enhance it still further.
When you use your credit card to place an order with lovewoodprints.co.uk, you will be receiving an email receipt for your purchase. To protect your information, our credit card processing vendor uses the latest secure transaction technology, and is compliant with all card association security initiatives. 4: Pricing
All prices are the responsibility of us. We reserve the right to change them at any time. All prices include VAT at the current rate. We reserve the right to amend the VAT aspect of the prices if this changes from its current rate. Any offers or promotions are run at our discretion and are valid until the date shown or until we decide to cancel them. We reserve the right to amend or cancel any offers or promotions at any time. Any offer or promotion is only for standard sized wood prints unless otherwise stated.
If your wood print is damaged when received we will endeavour to put this right with a reprint. We will only reprint the original file and specifications chosen and we will not accept a different file for a reprint. Wood prints are bespoke made to order items and do NOT comply with general returns policies. We will only ever reprint faulty wood prints at no extra cost to the customer but no other reprint will be issued, NO exception! We will not refund a damaged print, we will only reprint it. If a reprint is issued from us we would require you to destroy the faulty wood print rather than return the wood print and send us photographic evidence that the original print has been destroyed. This saves the extra carriage costs of having to return the damaged print.
It is down to the individual ordering to ensure the image does not have any imperfections. If there is a blemish that needs removing please state this while ordering. We will not remove anything unless asked. If a parcel is deemed lost then our policy is to reprint the order not refund it, no exceptions. Our couriers deem a parcel lost after 14 working days. Therefore, we cannot reprint until those 14 days have passed. Our wood prints are not treated with any extra protective coatings or lacquers, we prefer the natural look, feel and finish as do our customers. Therefore, your new wood prints need to be handled with due care to avoid any scratches or damage to the surface of wood print.
5: Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates can NOT be used with any other promotional offer that we may currently have via our website. If you want to use your gift certificate at the time of a sale then the wood print will be charged at the normal price. Sale prices we offer are also not eligible when purchasing gift certificates. Love Wood Prints Gift Certificates are also only valid for a 12 month period from the date of purchase. They can only be used in one transaction, once used to order wood prints the certificate code will become invalid and unusable in the future - even if you haven't used the entire amount on the voucher.
6: Artwork
We recommend an image size of at least 150dpi when scaled to the size you are ordering. This is to insure a good quality wood print is produced. It’s the responsibility of the individual placing the order to ensure they upload a good quality image. If an image smaller than 150dpi is uploaded it is our belief that you are aware the image may not be at its sharpest and but that it will still be printed. Our print quality checker will not accept files under 72dpi as it is our belief that the finished print quality would not be acceptable to you. The optimum DPI level is 300dpi when scaled to finished wood print size.
Reprints are at our discretion. We will not reprint an order that has been fulfilled to your requirements. If we believe the size you choose is of the wrong proportions we may alter some of the design aspects without prior notice to keep the composure of your wood print. We would only ever do this to make the wood print better NOT worse! We will try and fulfil your requirements wherever possible. On receipt, if there is an issue with your new wood print, we must be notified within 14 days of receipt.
7: Copyright
All copyright and intellectual property rights existing in our designs and products and in the content of the site is the property of us. Any designs where a third party has be credited with copyright will remain property of the third party with all rights reserved. By your use of the site and agreement to the Terms, you agree that you are the copyright owner, or that you have express written permission from the copyright owner, for any images you supply to us. By uploading images to our automated processing system you confirm that you have the relevant permissions to use and reproduce your supplied artwork file. Signs Scott Ltd t/as Love Wood Prints accept no responsibility whatsoever for any subsequent action taken by third parties against you should your file contravene any copyright legislation. We reserve the right to refuse any images that we are unable to reprint for legal reasons.
